We are a family owned and operated business that has been fortunate enough to be located in this beautiful area. The Darkroom’s staff of experienced photographers covers all types of photography. The Darkroom is a photography studio that can take care of all of your photographic needs in one place, from the moment your picture is taken to the moment it is printed in our lab and ready for pickup.

 

Collectively, we have over 90 years photography experience! We know every nook and cranny of St. Simons Island, and our team of four photographers can accommodate your schedule and make you look great. We have been in business on St. Simons for more than 40 years, keeping our clients happy, with the longevity to prove it.

We are a team of photographers specializing in portrait, wedding, commercial, and event photography. We’re a full service photo lab, printing all of our photos right here in our store on St. Simons Island. This allows us complete control of the quality of our pictures, and a quick turnaround time for you. Our philosophy is unparalleled value, the very best quality photographs at a reasonable price.

 

We also offer photo finishing, photo restoration and copies, fine art giclée prints, business headshots, sports team photos, and passport photos. We print on a variety of fine art papers such as canvas, watercolor, and cotton fiber paper, and also design handcrafted photo albums, gallery wrapped canvas prints, photo books, Christmas cards, invitations and announcements, and other photo gifts.
